PATRICK ERWIN

Patrick M. Erwin is the Curriculum Director at Maxwell Leadership Foundation, where he blends his passion for education and leadership development. Previously, he spent 17 years as High School Band Director at Hillgrove High School in Cobb County, GA. Patrick holds degrees in Political Science, Music Education, and Leadership from the University of Georgia, Auburn University, and Berry College. Recognized with awards such as the Symetra ‘Hero in the Classroom’ and George N. Parks “Leadership in Music Education,” Patrick is a sought-after speaker on leadership, student engagement, and professional development. He has presented at conferences such as the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic and the California Directors of Activities National Conference.. Patrick continues to inspire educators and leaders alike with his commitment to fostering growth, creating positive cultures, and shaping the next generation.

Patrick M. Erwin was awarded the 2015 George N. Parks Award for Leadership in Music Education by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). He received the honor during the Bands of America Grand National Championships in Indianapolis on November 14, 2015.
